Barred Long-tailed Cuckoo (Cercococcyx montanus)

Two subspecies of Barred Long-tailed Cuckoo (Cercococcyx montanus) occur in the Albertine Rift. This is the resident subspecies montanus, a common endemic resident of montane forests with an extremely powerful voice.
