Student Training

A critical component of our current work in the Albertine Rift is providing funding, training, and support for scientists and students associated with our collaborating institutions, including the Université Officielle de Bukavu (Bukavu, DRC), Makerere University (Kampala Uganda), and the Centre de Recherches en Sciences Naturelles, Lwiro (DRC). Support has been made available to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as to lecturers and researchers. Additionally, University of Chicago graduate students work with curators at the Field Museum to study African biodiversity.
